Create Material Wealth & Gain Spiritual Abundance

Hi Friends,

I haven’t been able to upload new blog posts lately because I’m racing to finish my latest book, 8 Secrets of the Truly Rich. If you have ever built a house, you’ll know that the most time consuming (and most expensive) part is the finishing phase. Well, writing a book is the same. I see so many things to improve, I keep on editing endlessly. Anyway, in the next few weeks, I’ll be letting you read a few parts of my new book. Here’s the first installment… The Cover and the Preface. (Next Week: The Foreword.)

What The Rich Know That The Poor Don’t Know

8 Secrets Of

The Truly Rich

How You Can Create Material Wealth

& Gain Spiritual Abundance At The Same Time

Preface

This Book Is About Changing

Your Inner Software

I believe we Filipinos have been programmed to be poor.

Especially Filipinos raised up with crazy religious beliefs.

For over 25 years, I’ve been working among the poor, living in their homes, and helping them get out of poverty.

I’ve found out that no matter how much money they receive, unless they change their inner program, nothing happens. They will remain poor forever.

Friend, do you have a money problem?

Read carefully: 90% of your money problems are mind problems.

People are not poor because they have no money. That’s merely the result, not the cause of poverty.

We’re poor because of a lethal combination of three giant monsters of poverty.

First, we really don’t want to be rich.

As shocking as this may sound, it’s true. Externally, we seem to want to be rich, but internally, we’re deeply conflicted in our unconscious desires. Because our distorted core beliefs about ourselves plus our crazy religious beliefs about money chain us to the prison of poverty.

Second, we are financially stupid. (To put it mildly.)

We don’t know how money works. And we don’t know how money grows. So we lose whatever little we have. Because what we know about money comes from friends and relatives who don’t have money themselves—and so they teach us from their ignorance. And school never taught us how money worked either because teachers didn’t know.

Third, we insist on walking, not riding vehicles towards wealth.

Even if there are hundreds—no thousands—of vehicles around us. In the pages of this book, I will explain what these vehicles are.

Friend, do you want to gain material wealth and spiritual wealth at the same time?

Then read this book as though you were a drowning person and this book was your oxygen. If you do this and apply all that you’ll learn, I promise you that you can solve your mind problems—which can lead to you solving your money problems.

(The excerpt above is the Preface of Bo Sanchez’ newest book, 8 Secrets of the Truly Rich. It will be published this March 2007. Do you want an authographed copy? Keep reading!) I’m giving it away for FREE to every KerygmaFamily member as my Thank You gift! See details below.)

  5. Hi Bo!
Just want to add that the idea that Filipinos have been programmed to be poor has been going on since Rizal's time. This is just one of the things he had been telling us in "Noli" and "Fili". Is there still hope after more than a century?

  10. hi brother Bo! i am hoping that your new book will touch more lives and it will make them commit themselves to be rich to help the needy :)

  11. Much as everybody wants to be materially rich, there are those who have the capacity to be so, but would refrain from becoming rich in the fear of being branded or misinterpreted that "mayaman na kasi kaya nag-iba na ugali". Acquiring wealth also entails responsibility of handling and disposing such wealth, which is a little bit scary. I hope your new book can shed light into this dilemma. Looking forward to its release Bro. Bo!

  12. Hi Bo! I was just introduced to your website. I can't help but agree abt your three giant monster of poverty! Filipinos have been programmed to think that they can only achieve so much. About time someone spoke about the fact that we can choose to be rich and that we can choose to educate ourselves to be rich and that wealth is not neccesarily an evil thing. Can't wait to read your book!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yep, many people actually view money as evil and they despise rich people. What they don't know is that most of the ultra rich are helping the poor, setting up foundations and donating to relief organizations. Being rich enables you to help more people in need. Of course that's one of the secrets of the rich (sharing their wealth).

Btw, I've linked your blog to mine ever since I stumbled on it.

    God bless you!

  26. Hello Bro Bo. We're much blessed now after discovering your daily video reflection. I've been
distributing daily gospel tracts (with reflections) thru emails since 1995 as my small personal
ministry for the Lord. It used to be simply a plain text reflection until I discovered your daily
video reflection with matching brief talks. I would like to let you know that if your daily video
reflection brings inspiration and encouragement to many in places where practicing christian
faith is free, in Saudi Arabia where practicing our faith is literally prohibited, our inspiration
indescribable because we've been craving to hear a person filled with Holy Spirit talks.
We are always blessed with your talks. Kindly include us (Catholics) and other annointed
Christian ministries in Saudi in your prayers.

  38. I just want to ask if the book you had written is inspired from God or it is a message from God?

If it is, why is it for sale?

Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: FREELY ye have received, FREELY GIVE.

II Corinthians 11:7 Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?

If you had freely received it from God, should you also give it freely? Except, you had bought it from God.
    But I think not.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hi Yun Un,
Thanks for giving your comment. It gives me an excuse to share our expenses.

Much of what we do is for free--our prayer meetings plus all the Living in the Light Seminars, Growing in the Light Seminars, and Serving in the Light Seminars all over the country are for free (but we spend P650T a month to do this); Our counselling center services are for free. (but we spend P50T a month). Our weekly FEAST events at the Arena in San Juan is for free (but we spend P440T a month). All our websites and watching our daily internet program preacherinbluejeans.com is for free. Watching our TV show and listening to our daily radio program is also free. (but we spend P300T a month for this.) Anawim, our ministry for the poor is for free (but we spend P450T a month.) Our partnership with Gawad Kalinga is for free, building homes for the poor. (We've already spent almost P4M.)

So why do we sell my books?

We sell books because 40% goes to National Bookstore (so they can pay for high rent of malls and the salaries of their hardworking staff). Obviously, if we gave the books for free, they can't earn from our books. Out of the remaining 60% of the cover price, we pay a printing company to print the books (we don't own our own printing machines), plus the salaries of our editors, layout artist, photographer, accountants, etc. Without all these people, there will be no books to read. In our organizations, we emply 70 people and give them salaries and benefits--because they support families. We also maintain computers, cameras, telephones, fax machines, etc.

Thank you once again for your comment. Perhaps one day, we can find a way of giving our books for free.

    God bless,
    Bo

  40. Hello Tito Bo!

I've read your latest book already, finished it last week. I love it! It's very inspiring andalso at the same time very practical. It's sort of a basic manual on how to get truly rich, materially and spiritually. I'll apply the lessons you shared on my own journey to becoming truly rich. Thanks and God bless you always!

  41. Dear Bro.Bo,

I just want to ask if all the Catholic Church or Organization have the
practice of "tithing"? I've notice that some of your books teach the practice of
"tithing"? Is it OBLIGED in our times to give the 10% of our income?
With specific amount? Or shall we gave only what we can cheerfully gave?
    Thank you., and God Bless.,

    randy

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hi Randy,
I'm afraid I can't answer your question in a few lines, but this gist is this: We are called to give from the heart, without pressure.
But keep watching Preacherinbluejeans.com and we'll be showing my talk at the FEAST on tithing. Kerygma magazine will also bring out my article on tithing on June or July.
    God bless!
