After 28 Years In Ministry, My First Blog

Welcome to my first blog.
Or is it?
Frankly, I don’t know.
Ever since I started preaching at the ripe old age of 13, I felt I was blogging my life away. Because I always preached from the heart, speaking from my feelings and experiences. Why? Because I noticed that people like listening to stories. And the stories I knew best were my own.
And when we published Kerygma mag 16 years ago, my articles were always no-holds barred, tell-it-like-it-is, my-life-in-the-raw.
It’s been one exciting ride.
I want to keep this blog short.
In a few weeks, you’ll also see a podcast and a vodcast connected to this blog.
I want to use technology to the hilt to share God’s precious love to you.
In this blog (and podcast and vodcast), I’d like to open my life further to you.
To bring you with me, each day if possible, to where I go and what I do. I’d like you to meet the people I talk to each day. I’d like you to see the problems I face—and how God and I solve them together (most of the time despite how I mess things up!). I even like you to see the craziness of my life, so that you’ll realize that we’re not so different after all.
Watch out.
God’s-Love-Made-Flesh coming your way… in this Blog.

  11. Bro Bo,

I truly believed that our best teacher is EXPERIENCE. You have seen in your life God's hand working in you and you're also a great teacher for us who (not everyone) is seeing life differently as you do.

May you continue to be the light for those who are still in darkness.

    God bless..

  13. Bro. Bo, since I attended the Feast at Valle Verde last year August 2009, my life has really transformed tremendously in all areas. Especially when you talked about living in our comfort zone to courage zone. Many things have happened that never crossed my mind that I am capable of doing - in my marriage, my motherhood, my finances and my personal relationships with my family and friends. I learned to completely trust the Lord and even though that I take this new path of my life without my husband beside me, being a working single mom, being in the midst of financial crisis, I remain to be happy and strong because I have said YES to the big God that we worship everyday and thanks to him because slowly but surely I know God is always there for me and my kids. The day will come that God will fix my marriage, my finances and my family. I'm still a work in progress but life is different now since last year, I have big problems but I can smile even more. God bless you Bro. Bo. Your preaching is so powerful because God is with you. AMen.

I'm at lost and confused right now. I know that I am not where I am supposed to be. I want to have a more meaningful existence. I want to touch other people's lives and let them know that God loves them. I want to speak about God's words of hope and love to those who have lost their faith and direction. I want to be an instrument of God's love. But I don't know where to begin and how to start. I want to fulfill my life's purpose. I want to leave a legacy that is worth remembering and keeping.
